Being famous really dumb as hell in a way. “Everybody wanna be famous, but nobody wanna put in the work!” - Kevin Hart. I wanna be so famous that people drive by this house on Rose Ave and go “did you know Jose Tapia lived in that house when he was younger?” And the passenger goes “Yes you told me that like a billion times already.” I wanna be so famous people walk into the old Anatomy/Oceanography classroom at NWHS and point to the back table by the sinks and window and say “that’s where Jourdain and Jose became best friends. That’s where history was made, and the world was changed forever.”
I am fine with making my legacy the kind of friend I was. I’m ok with being known because of how good of friends I am with people. Because what is fame? Fame is being important and well-liked by strangers. Only one rung under that is being important and well liked by people who know you, and that is a much more beautiful thing
I will never forget the people who believed in me, and then lived honestly and bravely enough to tell it to me. It is what I live for
To say my brother is wise beyond his years is such an understatement it’s almost insulting. My brother is literally incredible. I consider him to be a genius, and it’s because of the way he makes me laugh and the discussions we have about interacting with other people.
The universe is fundamentally hilarious to me, so I’m just really sharing the humorous things I notice about the universe…. I have deep respects for the comedic arts because I think that comedians are the keepers of all that we value in culture. They understand what people care about, they understand what upsets people, they understand what makes people laugh. And there’s no other profession in this world that are experts simultaneously at those three things.
